Registration Open for Nordic Matchmaking Event for Digital Europe

A Nordic online event for upcoming Digital Europe calls will take place on 16 April 2026, from 11:00–13:00 (Icelandic time) and is open to Icelandic companies, institutions, and other interested participants. The goal is to connect Nordic partners and support participants in preparing applications for Digital Europe projects for 2026–2027.

What is Digital Europe?

The Digital Europe Programme (DEP) is an EU funding programme that supports the deployment of digital technologies and the development of shared European digital infrastructure. The programme focuses on areas such as artificial intelligence, secure data systems, digital skills, and digital transformation in society and industry. It is therefore an ideal platform for Icelandic stakeholders wishing to engage in strong international collaboration projects.

Event Focus Areas

The event begins with a short overview of upcoming DEP calls according to the 2026–2027 work programme, followed by three parallel thematic sessions:

  • AI & Data
  • Health
  • Education & Skills

In these sessions, participants can present project ideas or specialised expertise in short 3–10 minute pitches.

This event offers a unique opportunity for Icelandic companies, institutions, universities, and municipalities to form new partnerships, gain insight into the upcoming DEP calls, and begin preparing collaborative project proposals.

The event is organised in cooperation between Rannís and its sister organisations across the Nordic region.

Registration Open – Secure Your Spot

Rannís encourages all Icelandic stakeholders working on digital solution deployment or innovation to register and take an active part in the event.
