Workshop on Grant Proposal Writing for the EU Research and Innovation Programme Horizon Europe and the European Research Council (ERC)

On October 28, 29, and 30, Rannís and the Icelandic Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in Iceland and the Icelandic Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ICEARMA), will host a workshop on how to prepare and write proposals for Horizon Europe and ERC. 

The workshop is intended for applicants, project managers, and/or research managers who are interested in improving their skills in writing competitive proposals for the EU Research and Innovation Programme and the European Research Council. It is also suitable for those involved in the preparation of Horizon Europe projects. 

Instructor: Jitka Eryilmazova, Ph.D. 
Jitka is the Head of Horizon Europe Pre-Awards Services at EFMC (European Fund Management Consulting) and has many years of experience as a senior evaluator of Horizon proposals. She has received numerous awards for her academic and professional achievements and has over 18 years of experience in both industry and academia. 
Jitka holds a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from Birkbeck College, University of London. 
The workshop will be conducted in English. 

Dates and Times: October 28, 29, and 30, from 10:00 to 17:00 each day 
Location: Hannesarholt 

The workshop is divided into two parts, and the fee depends on participation. One option is a two-day workshop focused on general proposal writing for Horizon Europe. The third day is dedicated to those preparing proposals for the European Research Council (ERC). 
Participants are welcome to attend the full three-day workshop. 

Workshop Fees: 
• General Proposal Writing for Horizon Europe (October 28–29, 2 days): ISK 40,000 
• ERC Proposal Writing (October 30, 1 day): ISK 20,000 
• Full Workshop: General + ERC Proposal Writing (October 28–30, 3 days): ISK 50,000 
Includes: workshop materials, lunch, and refreshments 

Maximum number of participants: 45 

ICEARMA will subsidize the workshop fee by ISK 10,000 for its members.
